Daddy/daughter date

Well, since I have mutal on Tuesdays, Jake usually keeps Kinley and I take Preston (he is a mamas boy!) Kinley usually crys when mom leaves so I had a plan for last night. Jake needed a couple things from the store because he was leaving this morning to go help on the farm. I decided that Jake and Kinley could go on a date. So all day, I got her excited to go on a date with dad. She helped clean her room even! Jake and Kinley went to Wal-Mart and she picked out a new Barbie fishing pole and got a big boucey ball (I think Jake secretly got the ball for himself!). Anyways they had a fun time.

Bike ridin'

Kinley is a pro on her bike. She has figured out how to peddle her bike. She has only crashed a few times-no cries. She and the neighbor boy her age were racing yesterday. She hasn't quite figured out how to turn so she will go fast from one end of the sidewalk to the next but when she is ready to turn, she gets off her bike and turns it around. She also has us say "Ready, Set, Go!" before she will start riding.

Kinley builds a bunny

Mom told Kinley when she got rid of her binki we would go and stay with Auntie Martha and go to Build-A-Bear. So, Kinley has been binki free for a couple months and our schedules finally allowed us to go to Salt Lake. We went to Build-A-Bear on Friday after Auntie Martha got off work. Kinley had a cuddle test with all the animals to find out what animal she was going to make. The brown bunny with soft, big ears passed the test. Next stations...sound. Kinley loved the birthday song they had but unfortunatly that sound chip was all gone. She settled for the giggle. Next station...stuffing. Kinley was a little shy with the worker so Auntie Martha pressed on the peddle to stuff the bunny. It's nice and cuddly now. Next station...wash. Kinley agian a little shy but finally she fluffed her bunny. Last station, the longest station...dressing. Kinley picked out this pink t-shirt that had the Disney Princesses on it but wasn't very cute. Shhh...we talked her out of it so she would get a cute outfit. Kinley picked out levi capris with a pink and black polkadot shirt. The lovely bunny was named Pinky. Miss Pinky was spoiled getting purple jammies and another outfit. Pinky also has a pink bed, blow up couch, purse, sunglasses, and hair pretties.

Cookie Mess

We are going to Island Park for Easter so me and Kinley decided to make some cookies. Well, we were at the bottom of the flour bag and Kinley had to get the flour out by herself and as you can see, the flour went flying. I couldn't be mad, it was so funny. I said don't touch your face and I scurried to find the camera before she wiped her face. How could you be mad at the cute little flour face!

No more "B's"

Well, we finally took away Kinleys "B" (binki). She has done pretty good. I thought it would be much worse. She cried quite a bit on Wednesday morning but she didn't cry when she went to sleep Wednesday night. She only asks for it maybe once a day. I have caught her finding one of Prestons and she will put her hand over her mouth so you can't see the "B". If you say "KINLEY!", she will laugh and take it out. She is the funniest girl!
