Easter in Island Park

We went to Island Park for Easter weekend and had so much fun. There was quite a bit of snow so we rode the snowmachines and Kinley loved playing outside. Kinley, Kenadee, Wade, and Jake made slides down the snow and one of the slides went through a snow tunnel. They had tons of fun. The Easter bunny even found us. There was a hot tub at the cabin and the first night I put Kinley and Kenadee in and they were whinning a little and I said I am coming, I steped in and I found out why they were whinning. It was a tad hot! We all had bright red legs. We cooled it down with snow. But I think the thermostat wasn't working because it kept cooling off. I got back in with the "adults" and the temperature was dropping down to 91degrees. It did the same thing the 2nd night. It was still relaxing though. We were even able to dye Easter eggs. Enjoy the pictures.

Cookie Mess

We are going to Island Park for Easter so me and Kinley decided to make some cookies. Well, we were at the bottom of the flour bag and Kinley had to get the flour out by herself and as you can see, the flour went flying. I couldn't be mad, it was so funny. I said don't touch your face and I scurried to find the camera before she wiped her face. How could you be mad at the cute little flour face!

Sqaush!!

Like I said in an eariler post, Preston loves veggies! Here he is eating his squash. Usually he doesn't make quite this big of a mess. He was having so much fun eating the squash, I had to just laugh and clean him up when he finished eating. You can't feed him fast enough either!

Easter pictures

Wow, I decided to try and take some pictures of the kids for Easter. Boy has that been fun! Kinley wasn't too cooperative and Preston was enthralled by the Easter eggs. I did manage to get a few cute ones. I thought it would be cheaper and easier to take pictures myself. I can't wait until it warms up a little and we can take some pictures outside! Anyways, enjoy a few of the pictures.

No more "B's"

Well, we finally took away Kinleys "B" (binki). She has done pretty good. I thought it would be much worse. She cried quite a bit on Wednesday morning but she didn't cry when she went to sleep Wednesday night. She only asks for it maybe once a day. I have caught her finding one of Prestons and she will put her hand over her mouth so you can't see the "B". If you say "KINLEY!", she will laugh and take it out. She is the funniest girl!

Baptisms

Saturday, Jake and I were up at 3am to go to the temple to do Baptisms for the dead. It was a good experience. Jake was baptized with the young men. When he has gone before, he helped baptize. We were both pretty tired but it was worth getting up to go. We had quite a few youth go and some other members of the ward. Since we had to get up so early, Kinley spent the night at Grammi and Papas house. She cried a little bit but did good. We took Preston over at 3:30am and left him next to Kinley in her Dora bed. We were back there by 8:30 and Preston was still sleeping. Sure glad mom and dad live close.
